MLS released the 2012 schedules for all teams on Thursday. Because of the MLS conference realignment last year, the Dynamo are now in the Eastern Conference which means we'll only play them one time this year in Houston to decide who will have "El Capitan". The outcome of the Brimstone Cup derby will also be decided on the road with FCD taking on Chicago at Toyota Park.
Have you had a chance to look at the 2012 FCD Schedule? We'd love to hear your thoughts about it.

BREK SHEA IS INFERNO'S MVP IN 2011
Thanks to Inferno members Justin Kirchdoerfer and Jeff Henley for presenting our MVP award to Brek Shea on the field after the NY Red Bull playoff game. Justin and Jeff had been two of the Inferno's most positive and stand up members of 2011, helping with set up and break down in the section, leading chants and banging on the drums.
Thanks to all the Inferno members who made 2011 a great season and we look forward to seeing everyone in the section in 2012! Keep up with what will be going on with the Inferno via facebook, twitter and TIDN during the off season!

We the Inferno - Mission Statement - History - Constitution
We are FC Dallas' original, independent supporters group. We exist to provide home field advantage to our team when they play at Pizza Hut Park. We aim to be the premier Ultras organization of FC Dallas in Sections 120/121.
Our Mission Statement:
"We, The Inferno, actively support and create home-field advantage for FC Dallas!"
This is accomplished offensively via stadium noise (songs, chants, heckling the opposing team, etc.) and visual distractions (banners, signs, confetti, streamers, waving scarves & flags, etc.). We provide FC Dallas with the psychological advantage of a loyal, fanatical, and dedicated body of supporters, willing to cheer the team as they battle for victory.
We also strive to make the rest of Game Day an enjoyable experience for our members. We accomplish this by organizing tailgates before every home game, watching parties during away games, and after game celebrations.
Other Inferno Activities
Out-of-game activities include the St. Patricks Day Parade down Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Pub Quiz, Late Night Movies, Karaoke, Happy Hour, and The Inferno Football Club.
History
The Inferno was formed in 1995, long before FC Dallas (then known as the Dallas Burn) even kicked a ball. Originally, the Inferno sat near the corner flag across from the Burn bench at the Cotton Bowl in order to be closest to the field and to the opposing goalkeepers. In 1998, the Inferno moved to a more central location, directly across from the Burn bench, and remained there until the team moved to Dragon Stadium in Southlake for the 2003 season. Now that the Burn have re-branded as FC Dallas and moved to their own soccer-specific stadium in Frisco, the Inferno stands behind the southeast corner flag in Sections 120 and 121.
Obligatory Word
The Inferno is unabashedly an Ultras supporters group for FC Dallas. During the game, we fully expect the other team on the pitch to hate our guts. However, members are expected to keep anything not related to FC Dallas, our love of the team, the sport, and the players away from Inferno events. This includes, but is not limited to personal problems, bigotry, sectarianism, violence, criminal mischief, or hooliganism in any of its forms. Please refer to the Inferno Constitution for more information about our "Code of Conduct".
We enjoy a good relationship with the FC Dallas Front Office. We also enjoy having a great time with other supporters groups when they come to town; and after the game, will often hang out together at the same parties. We intend to keep it that way.
In 2010, the Inferno set up a committee to draft a Constitution for the group. The intent of writing an official constitution was to establish, in writing, the mission of the Inferno, a code of conduct for it's members, the roles of the officers, and lay the foundation for the Inferno to grow and continue to be FC Dallas' premier supporters group. After many months work, the committee presented the constutition to the officers and the constitution was ratified.
We expect our constitution to be a living document and invite members to attend AGMs and make proposals where they deem it neccesary. We outline many procedures and state what the expectations are, should you become a member of The Inferno.
The Inferno would like to acknowledge the work of Warren Abao, Travis Bell, Wayne McMullen and Daniel Robertson who worked so diligently in creating the Inferno's first constitution. It would never have happened without their experience, patience, dedication and passion for the Inferno and FC Dallas.

Q: Do I have to stand in Section 120/121 in order to join?
A: No. While Sections 120 and 121 are the official locations of the Inferno, we have members scattered throughout the stadium. The only thing we require of you is a commitment to cheer for the team, to do your part in creating a home field advantage for FC Dallas.

" We, The Inferno, actively support and create home-field advantage for FC Dallas!"
The Inferno is FC Dallas' Original Independent Supporters Group! Being an Inferno Member means committing to singing & chanting, and encouraging the Team. Whether that be alongside us in section 120/ 121, or from the other side of the stadium. Please take the time to learn our Songs & Chants below and visit TIDN's "FC Dallas" Forum to see the words to our chants.
We provide FC Dallas with the psychological advantage of a loyal, fanatical, and dedicated body of supporters , willing to cheer the team as they battle for victory. This is accomplished offensively via stadium noise (songs, chants, heckling the opposing team, etc.)
What is the difference between a "Fan" and a "Supporter?"
Fans wait for the Team to do something well, and then cheer.
Supporters wave scarves & flags! They sing & chant during the game, and their actions encourage the Team and drive them to success!
THE INFERNO SUPPORTERS SECTION
Our section is a section of many parts! The "Supporters Section" 120-121 is where voices meet the field with a passion ne'er seen. Here, you will find the most vocal of FCD supporters, the Inferno. We sing all game and stand for most of it! These are the trenches, where it is your job to cheer for FCD and encourage them onto victory. Support comes in many forms and towards the top of the section is more of a sit down and cheer section than the front, where you are expected to shout, sing, and wave flags and scarves all game long.
In 2010, many Inferno members were chosen to go onto the field after the game to accept the Captain's Armband...a distinct honor and privilege of standing with the Inferno in 120-121! Come and join the fun!
As always the main go to guy with questions about tickets is Kevin Lindstrom. Email or call him for all your ticket needs:

The Inferno has taken numerous road trips, including Kansas City and the US Open Cup Final in Indianapolis in 1997, New Orleans for the US Open Cup Semifinals and Chicago in 1998, Crew Stadium and MLS Cup in 1999, some members of the Inferno travelled a total of 129,052 miles all around the country to support the team.
In 2010, Inferno members were in attendance at games in Seattle, LA, Houston, Salt Lake City, New York, Kansas City, Colorado as well as part of the 200+ contingent of FCD fans present in Toronto, Canada for the MLS Cup Final.
If you haven't already experienced the excitement and comradery of a road trip, visit TIDN's "Road Trips Forum" for details of how you can join us on upcoming road trips.
Most recently, a group of FC Dallas supporters led by the Inferno set out from Dallas at 8:30am on a hot Saturday morning to see FCD kick some Houstank butte! In addition to those who travelled on the bus, provided by FC Dallas, there were a number of supporters who drove themselves. Overall some 100+ FCD Faithful braved the animalistic attitude of Dime-a-ho fans.
We had a lot of fun and thanks to FCD FO we stopped off at a great bar early in the afternoon to watch Man U v Barcelona in the Champions League Final. Thanks to all that travelled and we will see you at the next game!
