Did I say I have not learned from the past or taken into account what has happened? No, I didn't.
I am looking at the present and the future, what has happened has happened and I am not going to let that affect my thought process in trying to help this group and the communication and coordination between this group and the front office. That seems like it, but I know what you're saying. He was saying that he's not allowing the past to color the way he works towards a better future....doesn't mean he isn't AWARE of what happened or that he doesn't understand how it effected things. |

But if you understand how it effected things and are going to not make the same mistakes that were made in the past then it is allowing the past to color the way he works toward a better future. It's all about attitude and intention. Knowing what happened in the past CAN make some bitter and difficult when approaching the FO....Joey doesn't want that to happen. So...he knows what happened...what the failings were...he wants to avoid repeating those....but he isn't going to allow the failings of the past to effect his working relationship as he attempts to move forward. Got it? |
